I must confess in having been lax in my picture taking the past two days and henceforth do not have a picture of Melissa Anne's outfit yesterday (it was secondhand) , so I browsed through some of our pictures and found this from last Christmas.

I found this little book at an antique mall a few months ago. For three dollars I bought an 1876 first edition of Mildred Keith, by Martha Finley. I love the intricate embellishments.




And this hammock my mom purchased at a yard sale this weekend for two bucks - our old one was falling apart.

This charm was a gift given to me by my mother. She purchased it at a quaint little antique store in Pine Mountain, Georgia. It was made using a piece of antique lace.

I got this little bowl at a yard sale this weekend for 25 cents. It's a Johnson Bros., made in England.


It sits on a little section of my bookshelf, and holds Pippin, my watch and my rings (in a China Cockerel)

I'm sorry today's post is so late! I am not on my computer, so have no access to my pictures and scrambled for yesterday's post and today's!

So anyway, I was on talbots.com the other day and found this really cute dress. Immediately the "I can make that!" thought came into my head, but we all know it will never happen! So I'll just look at pictures and hope to find it at a yard sale next summer!
